Dr. Call grew up in Bountiful, Utah, where he learned two things early on: the value of community and how to shovel snow like a pro. Inspired by his great-grandfather, Dr. Call knew from a young age he wanted to follow in his footsteps.

He has been practicing dentistry in Davis County for over 20 years and is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles. From general and cosmetic dentistry to dental implants, Invisalign®, sleep apnea treatment and professional teeth whitening, Dr. Call combines advanced technology with personalized care to create long-lasting results. He believes in honest communication, a calm presence and treating every patient like a friend. At Oakridge Dental, he is proud to help people of all ages feel at home while receiving top-quality dental care.

What he loves most about Oakridge Dental is the people. The team is skilled, compassionate and full of personality, creating an environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Outside the office, Dr. Call enjoys skiing, hiking, camping and making his family laugh. He is a big fan of musical theater and may even sing during your appointment if you ask. He is also known for his Racing Challenge, any patient up for a foot race might just earn free teeth whitening.

Dr. Candice Fresques grew up in Davis County, Utah, who always had a desire to help other people. She majored in mathematics at Westminster College, and subsequently received honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. During dental school, she provided care to the underprivileged of Pittsburgh and Honduras and later performed a residency at Salt Lake City VA, where she refined her techniques while taking care of veterans.

With over nine years of dental experience, Dr. Fresques is well known for her gentle demeanor, clinical expertise and the ability to calm patients. She is excited to be part of the Oakridge Dental team and likes working with such a caring, high-functioning team.

Outside of the office, Dr. Fresques is an outdoor enthusiast, lover of hiking and camping, yogi at heart, and enjoys time with her husband, two children and two mischievous puppies. She is here to make your dental experience positive, comfortable and personalized, every step of the way.

Dr. David Jackson was raised in Murray, Utah, and has always been interested in how the body functions. His interest in the medical field naturally narrowed to dentistry, and after shadowing several dentists, he was certain he had made the correct choice. He graduated from dental school in 2002 and began his career as a dentist in the U.S. Air Force. After several years in the military, he entered private practice in Utah and has been practicing general dentistry for over 20 years. He has a special interest in newer technologies of digital dentistry.

At Oakridge Dental, Dr. Jackson enjoys the high-tech equipment and compassionate team that allow him to deliver efficient, quality care. He is committed to building trust through effective communication and making patients feel involved and at ease throughout their visit.

Outside of the office, he likes to hike, camp, ski and get outdoors every chance he gets. Dr. Jackson also makes a trip to Guatemala annually to provide dental care through humanitarian work, and he has been working hard to learn Spanish so he can communicate better with the people he serves.

His wished-for superpower, if he had his choice, would be perfect communication, so that every patient would fully understand their care and be reassured every step of the way.

Dr. Vance was raised in North Salt Lake, Utah, and yes, he still has the school spirit (and probably an old Wildcats hoodie to prove it). He knew he wanted to be “the tooth guy” since he was 5 years old. While other kids were dreaming about superheroes or astronauts, he was busy brushing his stuffed animals’ teeth and drawing molars in crayon.

After several years practicing dentistry in Arizona, Dr. Vance moved back to Utah to be closer to family, the mountains and his favorite condiment: fry sauce. He loves that dentistry combines science, creativity and meaningful human connection. Helping patients feel at ease, improving their smiles and using the latest technology to deliver high-quality care is what drives him every day.

Dr. Vance’s favorite part of Oakridge Dental is the upbeat, team-focused atmosphere. It is a place where patients feel known, valued and genuinely cared for the moment they walk in. He is proud to be part of a team that is passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles in a place that feels more like a community than a clinic.

Outside the office, you can find him running, snowmobiling, backpacking and pulling out ridiculous dance moves just to hear his son laugh. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska, is fluent in Spanish and firmly believes a little humor goes a long way when it comes to creating a comfortable dental experience.
